The school needs to be in Florida. I’ve searched on College Board but I need more information. I’m interested in FIU and UF because they are accredited for both Interior and Environment Designs. What is the absolute best school for Interior Design? Please, any information would help!

A career in interior design can be rewarding — here’s what it takes to achieve.

To complete this How-To you will need:

A degree
Experience
Certification
A license

Step 1: Learn requirements

Talk to a counselor and visit websites to learn about different schools, courses of study, and careers for interior designers.

Step 2: Get a degree

Complete a degree program in interior design.

Step 3: Gain experience

Get experience through internships or apprenticeships. The apprenticeship period lasts one to three years.

Tip: Networking will open doors down the road.

Step 4: Get certified

Pass the National Council for Interior Design Qualification exam.

Step 5: Get your license

Obtain your license by meeting state and country requirements. Learn state requirements by going to their official web sites.

I would love to become an Interior Designer, but need to be certified, I would like to use an online course because I don’t have the right schedule to go to school. It needs to be legit and not too pricy.

I want to design an interior design for school, can you use photoshop for everything? Or illustrator?
Can you create really good designs on the free ’sketchup’?

I’m a highschool graduate looking for the best interior design college in Toronto.

OCAD and Ryerson.

I am currently a junior in high school and I am really starting to search for the college that I want to attend. I am most interested in majoring in interior design, but I don’t know what the best colleges are. I live in New York. Any information will be appreciated!

any of the art institutes have really good interior design programs or academy of art university in san francisco if you are willing to travel!

I’m currently pursuing a B.S. in Architecture (2nd year) and am undecided about whether to get a Masters in Business Administration or in Interior Design.

I’m more interested in Design, by far. But it would also be good to have a degree in Business to fall back on should I decide not to work in the Architecture/Design field.

Also, what are the best schools that offer an Interior Design post-graduate program in the US or Europe?

To put it simply, an MBA will put you on the fast track to a management position within Architecture.

Basically it was designed as a conversion degree to take people without a business or management background and give them business and management skills.

After I get out of high school I really want to go into interior design. What is the best college to go to if you want to become an interior designer? But I don’t want it just to be interior designing cause I want to keep my options open if I decide to do something else and I plan to get a business degree ,too. Big demands I know got any suggestions.

I would suggest saving your money on college. Interior design is not really something you have to get a degree in. Why don’t you find a designer who will allow you to be an apprentice? You’ll learn but save big bucks by not going to college.
