What is the best web design, interior design, or graphic design?

…what is the best college to go to for the things listed above, I graduated from high school 2 years ago and didnt have the perfect grades (mostly C’s). What is a good college to go to, or can I start by going to Community College?

I really need your advice pppl!!

Go under search either under yahoo or wikipedia! type in interior design and graphic design….and you pick the best one!

I’m getting put down because of the career I want to pursue!?

I go to a college prep highschool, catholic and private. It’s a very good highschool, and hard too.

I want to pursue in fashion designing, preferably interior design. My grandparents are putting me down saying I will get no where, and it’s a waste of money sending me to the high school I go to if I want to pursue and fashion.

Fashion Industry is very hard to get into, and it takes a lot to work your way up and I mentioned that. They expect me to be some lawyer or something powerful when I have B’s and C’s in a hard school! How hard is it to get into a fashion school anyhow? I want to go somewhere far, like Italy or London. What does your academic grades or gpa have to be to get into a fashion industry?

PS What is the top 5/10 international fashion colleges?
I was a freshman .. and I had a very tough year, 1,2,3 quarters were about a 2.58 gpa, and then 4th quarter was a 2.79 but I could’ve done better
My parents don’t have a say. They never went to college and my dad lives far away

My daughter is interested in the Fashion design/interor design,, she watches every kitchen and bath show there is on TV. It’s not as easy to get into an international school as you’d think. I suggest you look at a School like NYU school of design, and then go study abroad. You will need a portfolio with some art work and ideas in in when you apply to any school. Start now. Show your grandparents that you are serious.

Getting into the industry is quite hard..and is hard work, however, There are plenty of jobs out there for it. You can also do an internship designing or help designing window at stores. Check out the store website and check for intership under employment. you can also check out this website.. http://www.summerinternships.com/interior-design-internships/

There are alot of colleges that have design programs. Don’t rule out the small colleges in largers cities.

Little hint. When your Grandparent or anyone say you should be a doctor or lawyer, say, "yes, that is certianly a possiblity" but I’d like to keep my options open and see what’s out there. I want to be happy with my job so I need to make an informed decision about what s best for me" Show them that you are mature enough to make your own choices in life.. It is your life, if you want to be an interior designer or Fashion designer, then go for it..
By the way… Ralph Lauran is a pretty powerfull man and So is Vera Wang..:) They run billion dollar companies.
Oh yeah.. Buisness is a good course to take as a minor. It’ may come in handy when your running your own design company.

Accredited online school for interior design…?

I checked around and Im seeing alot of schools arent properly accredited so you can pass the state required test.

Any interior decorators out there that can steer me in the right direction?

There are websites like http://www.online-degrees-and-scholarships.com which list only accredited colleges and universities. You will find several colleges and universities which might interest you listed there.

Or, you can visit a library and search through college guides, many of which list colleges by majors offered in their indexes.

You are very wise to insist on accreditation. Remember that state licensure is not the equivalent of accreditation and remember to be certain the accrediting agency listed by the colleges that interest you are approved by the United States Department of Education.
